Powless, Shirley May Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday March 28, 2021, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Don Powless. Loving mother of Jim (deceased) and Dan Powless. Shirley will be missed by her cat Mia. Loved sister of the late Pat Weggler (late Joe Weggler), Diane Hoskin (late John Hoskin) and Gail Loudfoot (Doug). Predeceased by her parents Marshall and May Knipe. Will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Shirley worked at the CAW Union Hall for many years. She had many hobbies including knitting, quilting, crocheting, sewing and was an avid shopper. Special thank you to the PSW’s from St.Elizabeth, Danielle, Monica, Ashley, Alice, Jennifer, Kim and many others. A Memorial Service will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Monday April 5th at 1pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.
