GARIEPY, Stella (nee Lachta) – Peacefully after a lengthy courageous battle on Friday November 25, 2011 at Community Nursing Home, Pickering, Ontario at the age of 86. Stella, beloved wife of the late Vernon Gariepy (1999). Loving mother of Elaine and her husband Larry Hughes. Proud Granny of Jarrett, Jazmin and Jordan. Dear sister of Rose Caron, and aunt of Robert, Rick and Jean-Marc. Heart felt thanks to Pastor Tim Spiegelberg for his vigilance in support and prayers to Stella as well the staff at Community Nursing Home for the wonderful care and especially Vivianne Shea.
