SAYCHUK, Theodora “Dora” (nee: Hollenga) Born in Leeuwarden, Holland, on July 13, 1930. Passed away peacefully in Oshawa on December 25, 2019, in her 90th year. Beloved Wife of the late Walter, who she met during the war in Holland while she was very young. One year after they met, she came to Canada to marry Dad; they spent 43 wonderful loving years together. Loving Mother of her devoted daughter Sandra Saychuk and the late Maryanne Francek. Cherished Nanna of Lisa, Andrea, Tara, Jessica, and Nathan, as well as Great-Nanna of Noelle. Devoted sister to the late Grete Wadman of Holland. Dora will also be greatly missed and loved by her extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 4, 2020 from 12 pm until 2 pm at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME Oshawa. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens Whitby. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
