Beatty, Thomas “Jack” – Beatty Machine & Tool Works Limited – Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday January 9, 2013 in his 69th year. Devoted husband of Lynne. Dear father of Kirk (Michelle), Mark (Connie), and Derek (Janet). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ryan, Victoria, Spencer, Rebecca, Parker, Madelyn, Graham and Makenna. Dear son of Emily Beatty & the late Thomas. Sadly missed by his father in law John Copp and the late Marguerite Copp. Dear brother of Jill Sears & Don. Brother in law of John Copp & Jenny, and Susan Lewis. Uncle to Shannon, Christian, Corrina, Cassandra, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Todd and Heather. Jack will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Jack attended Appleby College; was president and owner of Beatty Machine and Tool Works Limited 1972 – 2000, a family owned business which began in 1943 by his father. Jack is the Past Master of Coronation Lodge; he was a member of the Scottish Rite and the York Rite. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. A complete funeral service will take place in the Chapel on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 1 pm. Visitation Monday January 14th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm.
