Sanders, Thomas Wilhelm James “Tom” - Suddenly as the result of an accident on Saturday July 30th, 2016. Tom Sanders passed away with the people in the surroundings that he loved. At the age of 30, Tom leaves behind his beloved wife Sara Ferland, his parents Sheila Elliott & her husband Garry and Frank Sanders and his partner Sharon. Dear brother of Stephanie Sanders and the late Tiffany Sanders. Survived by his Oma Elisabeth Sanders. Predeceased by his grandparents Wilhelm Sanders, Marguerite & James Huggins and Joseph Poirier. Nephew & God son of Sonja & Joe Sanders. Cousin of Tianna, Kelson and Alyssa Sanders. Lovingly remembered by all of his family & friends and pets Wiskey & Daisy). Tom loved the outdoors, fishing and the family property. He always had many projects on the go at the same time and had a million ideas and plans for more. He graduated from Durham College, Honour Roll, with degrees in Tool & Dye and Electrical Mechanical Robotics Engineering. Visitation will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Wednesday August 3rd from 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Private Family Service will take place. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
