HEARD, Vivien Mary (nee Parsons), Retiree of Houdaille Industries, Oshawa – It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Vivien Mary Heard on Tuesday February 19,2019, in her 92nd year. Vivien, beloved wife of the late Donald J. Heard (2012). She was predeceased by her parents Ruth and Bayward Parsons, as well as her siblings James Parsons, Jack Parsons, Joan Forsythe, and Donald Parsons. Loving mother of Ronald J. Hayward and his wife Shirley. Proud grandmother of Sean Christopher Hayward and Ryan Andrew Hayward, and great grandmother of three. Loved stepmother of Daniel Heard and his wife Petra and their children. Vivien would have wished to have extended her deepest gratitude for the loving care and assistance given to her by her daughter-in-law Shirley E. Hayward, as well as her niece, Patty Quinn and her husband Bill Quinn. Vivien was a unique and loving person who will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Durham Region would be greatly appreciated by Vivien’s family. In accordance with Vivien's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.
