JANES, WILLIAM CLAUDE November 2, 1935-September 7, 2013 William Claude passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty five years, Alice, and his children Anne, Robert, Christine and husband Todd, Michael, Billy and predeceased by Vernon. Cherished by his loving grandsons Aaron and Travis. He will be greatly missed by his brother John and his wife Peggy, his sister Judy and her husband Norman, and his sister Joan. He is predeceased by his parents Minnie and Francis Janes, sisters Elizabeth and Gloria and brothers George and Lloyd. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. William (Claude) will be resting at Armstrong Funeral Home in Oshawa. His family has asked that his service is to be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Lakeridge Health Oshawa Foundation.Obituary
