ROSE, William Cecil (Bill) – August 7, 1945 – January 23, 2011 Passed peacefully at home surrounded by family at the age of 65. Beloved husband to Marilee. Loving father and best friend to his sons Dean (Glenn), Dan (Nina) and Matt (Anna). Predeceased by his parents, Al and Audrey and his sister Eleanor. Loving Brother to Bryan (Janine) and special uncle to Stephen, Loana, Karen and Angela. Bill will be missed greatly by the many friends and co-workers who passed through his life. Special thanks to Dr. Leo Quinn and the nurses with St. Elizabeth Health for the care and compassion they gave to Bill and all of his family. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Officer’s Mess from 3:00 to 6:00pm located at 53 Simcoe St. N. All who wish to attend are welcome. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.
