On Friday, July 22, 2016 William S. (Bill) Nurse passed away peacefully after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s. Bill was the loving husband of Mae Nurse and proud father of Mary and Anne (Ray Richardson). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Barbara Winter (Christopher Fleetham), William Richardson and Andrew Richardson. Bill was a long time Whitby resident and founder of Nurse Chevrolet Cadillac. His passion for family, friends, faith, business and community was unwavering. His zest for life will be profoundly missed. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Bloor Street, 227 Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will take place at the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, 160 Alexandra Street, Oshawa, Ontario on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Neil Murkar Charitable Foundation, c/o The Rotary Club of Whitby, P.O.
