Robert E. Hall It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Robert E. (Bob) Hall on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at home surrounded by his very large and very loving family. Bob was in his 82nd year and a life long resident of Ayr. Always by his side, he will be forever loved and missed by his wife and lifelong soulmate of 57 years, Donna (Welsh). Always remembered as the best Dad, Poppy and Gpa by son JEFF & Pam Hall and their children Cody (Casey), Dylan (Amilee) and their children Quinn, Hayden and Emery. Daughter LYNN & Dave D'Aguilar and their children Ryan (Gillian) Fried, Jay (Shayna) Fried, Rachel (Chris) Albrecht, Natalie (Mike) St. Croix, Jay D'Aguilar and their children, Ellis, Maren, Lily, Clara, Jaxon and Bennett. Son ANDY & Nikki Hall and their children Connor, Karli & Madison. Survived by sisters in law Diane (David) Greb, Marjorie (Keith) Moore and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Hilda and John T. Hall, sisters Norma (Glen) Labron and Lois, brothers Billy and Johnny, in-laws Edna and John Welsh. Bob started out with a dump truck in 1959 and in 1968 he started Ayrline Transport, to haul hospital furniture. Then in 1987 renamed the company J&R Hall Transport Inc., with son Jeff. Only to be joined by Andy and Lynn in the early 90's. He loved boating on Georgian Bay and in the Muskoka's, golfing in Florida and throughout Muskoka. Bob loved life, lived life and loved his family immensely. A Private Family Service was held with interment Ayr Cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family in celebrating Bob's life at Whistlebear Golf Club (1316 Dickie Settlement Rd., Cambridge) on Thursday June 20, 2019 from 7-10 pm. Eulogies will be offered at 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Glen Morris United Church or Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
