MCCONEGHY, Douglas P. - Peacefully at Marianhill on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 in his 79th year. Doug McConeghy of Pembroke, beloved husband of Joan McConeghy (nee Lett). Loving father of Patrick McConeghy of Ottawa. Dear brother of Marilyn (Tony) Bourne and Helen (Jim) Leaman. Dear brother-in-law of Eileen (the late John) Kennedy, Garwood Lett, Gerald (Eileen) Lett and David (Carol) Lett. Caring godfather of Kelly and Morgan Harty. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, along with many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Harry Allan and Anistasia McConeghy (nee Beloskie), by sisters Gloria and Sylvia, by brothers Sam and Garry (Jean) McConeghy, and by sister-in-law Wanda (Don) Grattan. Respecting Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Knights Of Columbus Hall, 170 Ellis Ave., Pembroke on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Marianhill Memorial Fund or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
