After a courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family, at Marianhill Palliative Care, on Tuesday July 16, 2019 in her 94th year. Edna McGonegal of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Des McGonegal and by first marriage the late Thomas Gallant. Loved and cherished mother of Patricia Hoffman (Wally), Norma Rantz (Weldon), Connie Johnson (Scott) , all of Pembroke, and predeceased by daughter Jean and son Robert. Mother-in-law of Jean-Guy Romain. Dear step-mother of John McGonegal (Tammy), Dave McGonegal (Colleen) and Willa (Dave) (late Jim) . Loving granny to Julie (Richard), Tanya (Chris), Tara (Ian), Jodie (Bill), Tim (late Bridgette), Jennifer (Paul), Kirk, Jordan, Tyler and Jacki (Gord), and predeceased by granddaughter Lisa G.G. to 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Edna is predeceased by 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Daughter of the late James and Mary Rose (nee Arsenault) Gillis.
