Obituary of Agnes Johnson Agnes Johnson Peacefully passed away at Peterborough Extendicare on Saturday, 20th January, 2018 at the age of 85. Agnes is survived by her son Leon, Peterborough, daughter Agfordia in the USA, sisters Martha Pyne-Bailey in the UK and Yomi Johnson in Sierra Leone, Brother Authur Johnson in the USA, daughter in law Francess Hamilton, son in law Edward Sawyerr in the USA. Several nieces and nephews in the USA, England and Sierra Leone. Grandchildren - Joy-star, Rose, Joel, Leona, Lennox and Lennon. She also survived by members of the Sillah, Sesay, Davies, Johnson, Okapor and Fadinka families in Sierra Leone and abroad. She is predeceased by son Montrose, sisters Mary Bola Margret Neville and Ayo Johnson, brothers Charles Johnson and Sonny Johnson. Close friends: The Parker, Anderson and Jones family in Thunder Bay. Lyn Miller and Judy Amsbury of Peterborough. Visitation: Thursday 15th February 2018, 5pm- 7pm at Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 840 Armour Road Peterborough. Service: Friday 16th February, 2018 at 1 pm at the Emmanuel United Church (West) 441 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. Burial: Interment immediately after the Funeral Service at Highland Park Cemetery 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough. Reception: Emmanuel United Church (West) at 441 Rubidge Street, Peterborough after burial.
