Obituary of Aileen Jane Gibbard GIBBARD, Aileen Jane (Thompson) “A.J.” – Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Aileen of Peterborough, formerly of Toronto and Scarborough, in her 97th year. Aileen, wife of the late Percival Gibbard. Loving mother of Jamie (Bob Kolody), Bill Gibbard, Ian Gibbard, John Gibbard (Kathy) and the late Carol Watson. Dear grandmother of Karen (Daren Bodkin), Kaylee, Michelle, Brooke, Traci and Monica. Great grandmother of Joey and Jakob. Sister of the late Sheila Thomson and Vince Thompson. She will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Always pulling for the underdog, Aileen had very little, but was always giving and willing to share. A family graveside service was held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
