Obituary of Albert HOSICK HOSICK: Albert Wilfrid - Retired Golf Professional at the Kawartha Golf and Country Club (1968 -1998), Past President of the Ontario Professional Golf Association (1974-1975), Past President of the Canadian Professional Golf Association (1976 -1977). Peacefully at the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Unit on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, after a lengthy and valiant struggle with cancer. Son of the late David and Vera Hosick. Loving husband of Shelby, proud father of Chad (Stefanie Weakley) and Rebecca (Michel Breton). Brother of Randolph, Sandra Trites, Stephen, Catherine Tallon, Rodney, Eileen Burdeney, Daniel, Sheila Phillips, Linda Robertshaw, Maureen Hibbert and Edward. Albert was predeceased by brother, David and sister, Marilyn Eyers. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Al will be missed by his colleagues in the golf profession across the country, as well as many of the local golf professionals and friends at Kawartha Golf and Country Club and Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club. A Celebration of Al's Life will be held at Westdale United Church, 1509 Sherbrooke Street, Peterborough, on Wednesday, October 17th at 2 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
