Obituary of Anita Mildred Bayley-Hay BAYLEY-HAY, Anita Mildred (Ward) – Long time Quaker Oats employee. Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, after a brief illness, with her family by her side, on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Anita of Peterborough, formerly of Maynooth and Oshawa, in her 64th year. Beloved wife of Charles Bayley-Hay for 18 years. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Etta Ward, and siblings Rita Mary, Joseph, and Dean. Remembered by siblings Veronica Ingram (Bill), Jack (Anne), Monica Tanana (late Marek), Rita Covert (Ron), Larry (Jayne), Lindsay, Grenville, step-sons Brandon, Qyn, and Kern, and aunt, Jean Dupuis. Anita will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and their families, cousins and a myriad of friends. Anita enjoyed travelling, but mostly loved having her whole family together, including great nieces and nephews. She showed people she loved them by never forgetting birthdays or other special occasions. Cremation has taken place. Visiting will be held at the Ashburnham Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 840 Armour Road, on Sunday, October 1, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A celebration of Anita's life will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 2, at 1 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, Anita would have suggested donations be made to the PRHC Foundation, Adult Diabetes Education Centre or the Gilmour Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund.
