Obituary of Anthony Dillon DILLON, Anthony Edward (retired from Canada Post after 35 years of service) - At his residence on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Edward Dillon of Peterborough in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Howlett). Dear father of John Dillon, Todd Dillon (Darlene) all of Peterborough and step-father to Tony Heayn (Raquel) of Brampton and Darrell Heayn (Shannon) of Norwood. Loving grandfather of Johnathan McIntosh, Ben Heayn, William Heayn, Marissa Heayn and Cameron Heayn. Edward will also be remembered by Carolyn McQuoid (mother of John and Todd). Son of the late Edward and Sarah Dillon. Brother of Daniel Dillon, William Dillon (Joyce), Eileen Owens, Emmett Dillon (Vivian), Mike Dillon (Betty Lou), Reta Pigden, Jean Villa (Jim), Shirley Connell, Eunice Sabourin (Normand) and the late George Dillon, Nellie Freeman, Marie Wright, Allen Dillon, Bessie O'Hara and Tony Dillon. Brother-in-law to Shirley Dillon. Uncle Edward will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME - Ashburnham Chapel, 840 Armour Road from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 859 Barnardo Ave., on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Interment at Lakeside South Cemetery, Valentia, Ontario.
