Obituary of Arny Goldman GOLDMAN, ARNY - Passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a long and valiant battle with kidney disease on Thursday, September 12, 2013. Arny of Millbrook in his 60th year, will be sadly missed by his mother, Gertrude Trejbal, his sister Rita Edwards, his cousin Jaro Rimes and many friends. Arny is predeceased by his father Robert and his brother in law David. While waiting for a kidney transplant from 1981 - 1984, Arny built his dream, an earthbermed house, having three sides underground. The home was built to take advantage of solar energy, and he was extremely proud of his accomplishment. Arny was very successful in the real estate business in the Peterborough and Millbrook areas. The family wishes to extend with gratitude, a sincere "Thank You" to John, Patty and Sharon for their support and assistance during Arny's illness; to the Dialysis Staff at the P.R.H.C. for their care over the last 13 years, to Millie for her "cruise" encouragement and to dietitian Margaret for being a good friend to Arny. As per Arny's wishes, no funeral will be held.
