Obituary of Elaine Jeanes JEANES, Barbara Elaine - died peacefully, with friends and family by her side at Hospice Peterborough on Friday, May 10, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69. Sisterto Charles and Ralph.Mother to son Darren White and daughter Laura Newsome.Grandmother to Christopher White, Chase and Kaitlyn Newsome.Cousin, aunt and close friend to many.She will be warmly remembered and sadly missed by all. A resident of Peterborough since 1976, Elaine was involved in many groups and organizations and touched the lives of all who knew her. Visitation will take place at 11 a.m. at Ashburnham Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 840 Armour Road, on Monday, May 27th, 2019 with a service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Donations on her behalf may be made to Hospice Peterborough.
