Obituary of Barry Thomas Hillmer Hillmer, Barry Thomas – Peacefully, with his family at his side, on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Riverview Manor, Peterborough. Barry, formerly of Marmora, Toronto and Oakville, in his 74th year. Dear father of Christine Hillmer, Laura Atherton and Charles Vella. Loving and goofy grandfather of Cayden White and Cole White. Brother of Heather Law (Dave). Favorite uncle of Shannon Law and Aaron Law. Barry leaves behind the love of his life, Carolyn Atherton and many other friends. Barry loved fishing, boating, crunching numbers and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, being extremely cheap, a terrible singer and making his own (awful) beer and wine. He was a fighter to the end. Following Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at KELSEYS Restaurant, 1209 Lansdowne Street West, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1:30 pm.
