Obituary of Bessie Shortt SHORTT, Bessie Isobel - At Peterborough Regional Health Center on Friday September 30, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Ed Shortt (1990). Cherished mother of Betsy Ann Gynane and Peggy Lou Friesen (Frank). Dear gramma of 2 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, and great gramma of 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by son-in-law Ken Gynane, sisters Thelma Wade, Mary Oullette, Roberta Larmer and brother Clifford Wood. Friends will be received at Community Alternative Funeral Home 83 Hunter Street West, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. A reception will be held at St. James United Church, followed by interment at Fraserville Cemetery.
