Bronwyn Bauchman Peterborough, Ontario Obituary

Bronwyn Bauchman

Obituary of Bronwyn Bauchman Bronwyn Bauchman (Mowat) - With immense sadness we regret to convey that our beloved Bronwyn fought a tremendous battle against cancer but succumbed on January 27, 2013 in Peterborough Regional Health Centre. We have all lost a true friend, teacher, artist and musician - and a great fosterer of all of the best qualities within ourselves - who was a horsewoman and zestful person who had great joy in welcoming friends in for a kitchen party or pig roast at her home where mirth and conviviality prevailed. This feisty woman stomped into our lives unapologetically and gathered us in. She is survived by her daughter Megan, brother Roy Bauchman, niece Kiera Ceyssens, nephews Callum Ceyssens and Christopher Mowat, brothers-in-law Philip, Ian Mowat and Paul Ceyssens, sisters-in law Maryanne Seward and Lisa Mowat, as well as various honorary children. Predeceased by husband Eric Mowat, brother Paul Bauchman, sister Laurel Bauchman-Ceyssens and parents Perry and Rosemary Bauchman. A memorial service will be held at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME -ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Friday, February 8th, 2013 with visitation from 12 - 1 p.m., service from 1 - 2 p.m. followed by a get together at the Navy Club from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or your local Horse Rescue and may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling 705-740-0444 To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Bronwyn Bauchman, please visit Tribute Store
