Obituary of Bruce Campbell

CAMPBELL: Bruce Gordon

Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, with his family at his side. Bruce was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1945. He grew up in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Throughout his life, he crossed this great land many times. He loved the mountains, the prairies, the Pacific Ocean, and Ontario. As a professional surveyor, he could read the land well and always had a keen eye for wildlife and nature. He found his heaven on earth in wife Merly. They enjoyed twenty four years together. Bruce is the loving father of Hazel (Ben Baker) and beloved grandfather of Laura. Dear brother of Carol McDermid, and Glenne Campbell, and is uncle to Heather, Jill, and Blair McDermid, and Chance Campbell. Son of the late Gordon and Lois Campbell. Bruce will be forever loved and always remembered as a brave and optimistic seeker of the humorous side of the story.
