Obituary of Bruce Sayer SAYER: Bruce Edward - 29 year veteran of the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service. Suddenly while on duty on Wednesday, May 20th, 2009 in his 50th year. Bruce, dearly beloved husband of Jane Pickard. Dear father of Matthew, Christopher, and Emily Sayer and cherished step-father and best friend of Chad (Christine), and Kevin Pickard. Beloved Papa Bruce of Noah Mitchell, and Lexie and Lucas Pickard. Loving son of Stephen and Violet. Dear brother of Glenn (Sandy), Michael (Laurie), and Marilyn Wilson. Much loved step-son-in-law of Faye and Jack Tresidder. Uncle of Krista, Andrea, Miranda, Bryce, and Carter. Bruce will be sadly missed by his special Aunt Audrey and Uncle Art Stacey, and by his many friends and colleagues in the Police Department.
