Obituary of Christine Alice Miles MILES, Christine (nee Jensen) – Passed away peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, with her family at her side, on Monday, October 22, 2018. Christine of Peterborough, formerly of Toronto and Brockville, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Ronald Miles for 51 years. Loving mother of Jennifer, Jocelyn and Julie (Tim Trustham). Dear grandmother of , Jordan, Megan,Makhi andRuby. Sister of the late Mary Anne (late Dr. Malcolm Nelson-Marshall). Christine will be remembered by her nephew Kristian Nelson-Marshall and many other relatives and dear friends. A retired physiotherapist who worked in Toronto, the Peterborough Region and Haliburton for over 40 years. Chris enjoyed summers at her cottage on Bushwolf Lake, Haliburton County and winters in Jensen Beach, Florida. She loved spending time with her group of High School friends on their annual get-togethers. She loved to run and swim, and as she got older, she enjoyed walking, baking, gardening, skiing, canoeing and wine. A private green burial was held. A Celebration of Life to honour Christine will be held on November 23rd, 2018 at the Canadian Canoe Museum in the event room at 910 Monaghan Road in Peterborough, from 3PM to 6PM.
