Obituary of Colleen Michele Boyd BOYD, Colleen M. – Peacefully, with her family at her side, on Sunday, January 1, 2017, at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa. Colleen of Oshawa, formerly of Carleton Place and Toronto, in her 54th year. Beloved mother of Jesse and Justin Powers. Dear daughter of Sandra Boyd and Brian Boyd. Granddaughter of Sarah Lucieer and the late Isaac. Sister of Sherri Robillard (Bob) of Carleton Place, and Andrew Boyd of Kingston. Much loved niece of Carol Morley (Don), aunt of Matthew and many others in the Powers family, cousin of David Senior and Scott Senior (Lisa). She had her dream come true… coming to Northern Ireland. She loved it and they loved her. Best friend of Sharon Koch, Brandi MacLeod, Rhonda Dubeau (Aaron) and their families. Colleen was a giver, who did everything for everybody. A hard worker who never stopped learning. Colleen was a Union organizer who was loved by her co-workers and management. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, Peterborough. A memorial reception will be held at the Rossland Park Country Club Lounge, Oshawa, 500 Mayfair Avenue, Oshawa L1G 2Y2, on Sunday, January 15, 2017, from 1-4 pm.
