Obituary of D. Eileen Petrie Petrie, Dorothy "Eileen" of Peterborough, passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Center on Sunday, February 18th, 2018, at 69 years of age. Dear wife of William Petrie. Beloved mother of Marc (Sarah) Duplessis, Julie (Chris) Klinger, Scott Petrie, Leanne Petrie. Proud grandmother to Ainsley, Hayden, Megyn, Mia and Hannah. Sister of Margaret (George) Miller, Dianne (Ivan) Mills, Norma Crayden and the late Greeta (Doug) Whelen. Predeceased by her parents Patrick "Dave" and Violet (nee Watkins) Heffernan. Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Eileen's life will be held at a later date. Many thanks to the nurses and medical staff at PRHC, and her home care nurses and PSW's from Nightingale and CarePartners. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the many neighbours, friends and family who have been a great support to Eileen.
