Obituary of Debra Herr HERR, Deb - Peterborough Lakers lost their biggest champion, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. "Aunt Deb" lost her valiant battle with cancer suddenly at home in her 61st year. Survived by brother Jim (Adele) of Buckhorn, and sister and brother in law Louise and John Grant of Peterborough. Deb was substitute Mom to John Grant Jr. (Raygen) and Gabrayel of Denver Colorado, Jamie-Lyn Grant (Andrew) and Melina-May of Peterborough, and Jillian Lefebvre (Andre´) of Barrie. Deb is predeceased by her parents John and Cecilia Herr and her brother Stanley Mark Herr. Deb will also be very dearly missed by her many friends, relatives and her "other family" at The Peterborough Memorial Centre. Aunt Deb was the most dedicated supporter, fan and volunteer for the Peterborough Lakers of all ages. Right up until the day she died she was making plans to meet and greet at the home opener for the Peterborough Senior Lakers and was seen at the Kinsmen Arena volunteering and cheering on the Lakers of Peterborough Minor Lacrosse Association. Deb was a best friend, sister, and Aunt and will be missed by many especially Stephanie, her best little friend.
