Obituary of Donald Ralph Ralph, Donald Harold (December 24, 1923-August 19, 2011) Passed away peacefully at PRHC with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Claire Theresa Herlihey (predeceased October 1989) Son of William A. Ralph (1983) and Maud Doxsee (1993). Loving father of Maureen (Dermot) Keogan of Whitby, Michael (Marian) of Highland Grove, Marylou (Randy) Short of Peterborough, David (Debbie) of Peterborough, Margaret of Peterborough, Bryan (predeceased), Donald (Julie) of Cobourg, Christine of Peterborough and Kevin of Peterborough. Loving and proud grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dearly missed by his granddaughter Katie who held a special place in Don's heart. Survived by his brothers Virgil of Belleville and Vern (Mary) of Peterborough. Also remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Don was very honored and proud to serve his country during WWII as an AB Seaman with the Royal Canadian Navy. He served on the Kitchener, Mimico, Reindeer and the Walter Grave (1942-1945). There will be a private family grave side service, interment, St. Peter's Cemetery.
