Obituary of Doris Hall HALL-FARROW, Doris Shirley (Doris was a long-time member of the Peterborough Navy Club with her late husband, George). - Peacefully, at her residence with her family by her side, on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Doris Hall - Farrow (nee McKenzie) of Peterborough in her 81st year was the beloved wife of Clifford Farrow and the late George Hall. Loving mother of Sharon Crowe (Debbie March), of Peterborough, Wendy Wood (Terry Reid) of Brighton, Steve Hall (Lucy) of Kitchener, Rob Hall (Karen) of Peterborough, Kevin Hall (Kim) of Peterborough, and Dwayne (Tracy) of Peterborough. Proud grandmother of Terri Lynn Little (Ron) of Peterborough, Paul Armstong (Jackie) of Kelowna, BC, Deanne Mitchell of Peterborough, Nicole Mitchell Huizinga (Michelle Olver Yates) of Peterborough, Troy Mitchell (Vanessa) of Bellville, Chantelle Terry of Peterborough, Steve Hall (Bonnie) of Victoria, BC, Sarah Zegers (Tony) of Kitchener, Maggie Hall of Kitchener, Melissa Anderson (Chad) of Peterborough, Travis Spafford (Karla Hewton) of Trenton, Kevin Hall of Peterborough, Matthew Hall of Peterborough, Brittany Hall of Peterborough, Taylor Hall of Peterborough, and Jordan Hall of Peterborough. Doris will also be greatly missed by her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.As a Foster Parent for more than 25 years, Doris provided a loving home to nearly 40 children. She will be fondly remembered by many friends and neighbours in Peterborough and around Buckhorn Lake where she spent many years at the family cottage.Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME - Ashburnham Chapel, 840 Armour Road, on Wednesday, December 4th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Doris' life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, condolences to the family, directions to the service or donations to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society may be made at www.CommunityAlternative.ca or by calling 705-740-0444 To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Doris Hall, please visit Tribute Store
