Obituary of Douglas Crapp CRAPP, Douglas Elwood "Ned" - Peacefully, at Lakefield Extendicare, on Monday, September 14, 2015. Douglas of Lakefield, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Judy (Wilson) for 52 years. Loving father of Brian (Tracy) and Kimberly Jopling (Dorian). Dear grandfather of Natalie Hutchings (Justin) of Harrowsmith, and Adam & Amber Crapp of Lakefield. Great grandfather of Hadley Hutchings. Beloved son of the late Florence and Norman Crapp. Brother of Barb Bailey (late Bert), and Carol Crapp (Carl Sunday). Doug will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. A retired miner and driller from Unimin, Nephton, Doug also was a boat builder at Peterborough & Lakefield Boats. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, dancing, playing cards and sharing good times with family and friends. Visiting will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE (840 Armour Road) on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 11 am to 12 noon. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, September 26 at noon. Reception to follow.
