Obituary of Elisabeth Spahr SPAHR, Elisabeth Maria - Passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday December 29, 2009. Elisabeth (Brauer) of Apsley in her 89th year. Wife of the late Wolfgang Spahr. Dear mother of Maria Spahr of Apsley, Monika Hoag (Joseph Barake) of Saskatchewan and the late Manfred Spahr. Mother-in-law to Ellen Spahr (Hilary Fernandes) of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Jeanette (Dave Henry), Michael Spahr (Susan), Nancy Hoag and great grandmother to Rob Henry, Nicolette & Karly Spahr and Matteo Hoag. Elisabeth will also be sadly missed by Paul Hill of Apsley. A special thank you to all of the caregivers who have touched Elisabeth's life over the years. A memorial service to celebrate Elisabeth's life will be held at the APSLEY COMMUNITY CHAPEL, 299 McFadden Rd., Apsley, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Pastor John Trotter officiating.
