Obituary of Elsie Smyth SMYTH, Elsie Irma (Chappell) - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Rubidge Retirement Residence, on Friday, October 31, 2014 in her 92nd year. Elsie, beloved wife of the late James for 60 years. Dear sister of the late Tom, George, and Jack Chappell and Alice Ackison. Special aunt of Debbie Nash (Larry), Doug Ackison (Nazira), Linda Brown (Ron), Maureen Torreiter and many other nieces and nephews. Elsie is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, West Hill Chapter. She will be remembered by many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 2 pm, with visiting from noon until service time. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at 1:45, fifteen minutes prior to the Memorial Service. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough, on Monday, November 17, at 11 am.
