Obituary of Elsie Alice Thompson THOMPSON, Elsie "Alice" (nee Smith), passed away peacefully at Lakefield Extendicare with her family at her side, on Friday July 13, 2018, at age 95. Wife of the late William and devoted mother to Wayne (Elaine) and of the late Jane (Garry). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Kristine, Patricia, Jeffrey, Joanne and Angela and her great grandchildren. Dear sister to Margaret and Edna. Alice is predeceased by her parents Frederick and Elsie Smith. There will be a "Celebration of Alice's Life" held at Ashburnham Funeral Home "Legacy Room", 840 Armour Road (north of Parkhill) Peterborough on Friday July 20, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. Private family interment at Prospect Cemetery at a later date.
