Obituary of Eric Robert Howe Eric Robert Howe “Bounce” It is with great sadness we announce the death of Bob (Bounce) Howe on August 15, 2018. Bob passed peacefully in palliative care at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Although the last few years were difficult, Bob lived them as he lived his whole life, with determination and a zest for life, always attempting a smile on his face. Born in Peterborough in 1933, Bob had many friends and business relationships with many of those in the real estate business where he retired as co-owner of Century 21. Bob loved the City of Peterborough. Our Dad was principled, honest, sincere, and humorous – and always instilled in us the importance of family. He played football for the Peterborough Orphans from 1951-1956. Bob leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Vina (Junkin). Predeceased by his son, David Kenneth, and his parents Eric and Margaret Howe (Warne). Our dad will be missed by his son Eric (Julie); daughters, Joanne (Rob) Tuck, Carolyn Howe (Glenn Trendell), and his grandson, Curtis Tuck. A private family burial has taken place. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Friday, August 24 with visitation at 11:30 a.m. and the service following at 1:00 p.m. at Westdale United Church.
