Obituary of Gary Earl Joseph Hickson Hickson, Gary Earl Joseph Peacefully at his home with his wife at his side on Saturday June 3, 2017 after losing his battle with cancer, in his 76th year. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie for 31 years. A dear father to Jennifer Bell (Blane) and to Grant (pre-deceased). Proud Grampa to Carissa and Matthew Hickson and Lauren, Morgan and Megan Bell. Son of the late Earl Hickson and Lillian Hennessey. Brother of James (Kim). Brother-in-law to Judy Maynard (Doug), Pat Bowler (Bob) and Paul Weisberg. Son-in-law to Oscar Weisberg. Gary was an employee of GE Canada for 38 years and lived proudly most of his life in the Irish Community of Ennismore. During his years there he served on the Ennismore Parks and Recreation board, The Ennismore Heritage and Arts committee and coached and played with many Ennismore ball teams. Gary enjoyed life and participation in many activities including ball, hockey, fishing, hunting, cards and bowling. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and a host of friends. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Ennismore Wednesday June 7 at 11am. Interment St. Martin’s Cemetery Ennismore.
