Obituary of Glen McConnachie

McCONNACHIE, Glen Fergus - Retired Service Man from Coca-Cola after 34 years. Born March 9, 1932 in Tweed. Passed away in the arms of his loving family, after a heroic struggle at PRHC Palliative Care, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Beloved "Dear" husband of Peggy (nee Davidson) for 52 years. Cherished father of Carol Anne and the late Shawn. Adored 'Pop' of Dylan. Dearest brother of Donna Farthing, predeceased by his two best friends and brothers, Bill and Paul McConnachie. Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman. A dog lover who will be missed by all the pets and pet owners in his East City neighbourhood. He was loved and will be remembered by the East City Coffee Shop guys and anyone else that knew him. A Memorial Service will be held at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL, 840 Armour Road, on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 12:00 noon, with visiting one and a half hours prior, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm.
