Obituary of Heather Suzanne Smith

Heather Suzanne Smith (November 12, 1979-July 17, 2019).

Heather passed away peacefully on July 17, 2019, at Hospice Peterborough. She was the beloved mother of Samuel Smith. Dear daughter of Rosemary (Gary) Assels and Stephen (Wendy) Smith. Heather will be greatly missed by siblings Stephanie Mann, Andre (Leslye) Smith, Stefanie (Tony) Dimarco, Kevin (Stephanie) Kubica, and Angela (Mick) Jackmann. She was a special auntie to Hayden and Cooper Mann, Ryerson Kubica, and Jacob and Tyler Collura. Heather was a very special friend to Jeremy Deyell. She will also be missed by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Sunday July 21st from 2:00 - 4:30 pm. A Celebration for Heather’s Life will be held on Monday July 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Heather’s family would like to thank the loving care provided by all staff on the Oncology Floor at Mount Sinai, Palliative Care Unit at PRHC and end of life care at Hospice Peterborough.
