Obituary of Isobel Wells WELLS, Isobel (Longtime Volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital for 15+ years, member of the Peterborough Lawn Bowling Club, the Peterborough Curling Club, and the Lucky Strike Team at Lakeview Bowl for 40+ years). Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, March 27, 2009. Isobel (Nee: Howson) of Peterborough in her 87th year. Wife of the late Toby Wells. Dear mother of Barbara (Brian) Johnston of Ottawa, Gloria (Neil) Nadeau of Peterborough, and Terry (Maureen) of Peterborough. Loving Nanny of Sean, Shelley (Michael) Stephenson, Annette Nadeau (Brad Katz), David, Tom (Meaghan Allen), Jenn (Scott) Moore, and her great grandchildren. Sister of John (Fern) Howson of Keene, Roy (Betty) Howson of Peterborough, Earl (the late Lucille) Howson of Peterborough, Carl (Jean) Howson of Kent's Bay and the late Gordon Howson and Marion (surviving spouse John "Jack") Rodd of Bowmanville. A Celebration of Isobel's Life will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 785 Park St. S. (at McGill St.), on Wednesday, April 1st at 11 a.m. A reception and luncheon will follow in the church hall. A private inurnment service will be held at Keene Upper Cemetery.
