Obituary of James Howard Curtis CURTIS, James Howard – Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, July 27, 2019. James of Peterborough, was 80 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Angela (nee Wooliscroft). Loving father of Michael (Laura) and David. Dear grandfather of Alexander (Jerri-Lynne Smith) and great grandfather of Charleigh and Blayer. Brother of Paul Curtis and Nancy Small. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A retired City of Peterborough Bus Driver, James loved chatting with people wherever he met them. He loved fishing and spending time at his cottage on Gold Lake. He also was a skilled craftsman and woodworker. Visiting will be held at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME (840 Armour Road, Peterborough) on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 from 5-8 pm and on Thursday, August 1st from 10-11 am. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 1st at 11 am with a reception to follow before interment at Highland Park Cemetery.
