Obituary of James Floyd Freeburn FREEBURN, James Floyd (owner/operator of the Barter Construction Ltd. and Freeburn Developments Ltd. for 40 years) Peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, August 24, 2017, after a brief illness in his 84th year. Floyd, beloved husband of Reta (nee: Rollings). Dear father of Terry (Karen) Freeburn, of Selwyn, and Barry (Debbie) of Belleville. Loving Poppa of Katie, Mallory, Kristina (Devan) Caul, and Samantha. Great-Poppa of Harper Caul. Brother of Cameron (Lorene) of Lakefield, Ross (Chris) of Peterborough, and Joan Chambers of Lakefield. Uncle Floyd will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough, from 7 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29th and from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at1 p.m. Reception to follow. Inurnment at Lakefield Cemetery.
