Obituary of Jean Graham GRAHAM: Jean Elizabeth (nee: Gillespie) R.N. Passed away peacefully at the family farm surrounded by her family, on Saturday, September 26, 2009. Jean was in her 93rd year of life and is the beloved wife of Bruce. Daughter of the late Frank Gillespie and Mabel Wilson. Mother of Stephen (Elaine), David (Diane), and Margaret Brackenridge (David). Grandmother of Elizabeth, Alexander, & Stuart; Emily (Brad Clements), Anna, & Sarah; Matthew, Megan, & Ben. Jean graduated from the Nichols Hospital School of Nursing in 1942. She spent most of her nursing career at the Peterborough Medical Centre, leaving to become a partner in her husband's farming business. She was a member of Nurses Alumnae, the Major Bennett Chapter I.O.D.E., and St. Andrews United Church, Westwood. Cremation followed by a private family interment. Special thanks to the Community Access Centre, VON, and Red Cross for all of the kindness and caring they have shown over these past few months.
