Obituary of Jennifer Ann Sharp SHARP, Jennifer Ann (Nee Frise) Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Hospice Peterborough at the young ageof 56. Jennifer is survived by her beloved husband David Sharp, of 37 years. Mother of her loving children Derek (Lindsay) Sharp, and Shannon (Brendan) Curry. Nana to her granddaughter Olivia and one grandchild on the way. Sister of Nancy (Grant) Spear, Stephen (Carolyn) Frise and Wendy (Greg) Houle. Jennifer will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, family and their dog Hunter. Jennifer was a graduate of Sir Sanford Fleming’s Nursing Program. She also achieved her certification of Nephrology Nursing from the Canadian Nursing Association. Prior to becoming ill she was a devoted RN. She positively impacted the lives of everyone she met. She loved spending time with family, kayaking, camping and cross country skiing. The family is grateful to the team of doctors who devoted their time and efforts to Jennifer. We want to especially recognize Dr. Jayabalan, Dr. Dixon and Dr. Beamish and many other consulting physicians, nurses and other hospital staff at PRHC. The family is also forever grateful to the staff and volunteers at Hospice for all their care and support. A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 19th, 2019 from 2:00 -4:00 PM and 6:00- 8:00 PM at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday June 20th , 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel with a reception to follow.
