Obituary of Jody Louise Smith SMITH, Jody Louise “Jode the Toad” – Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, August 11, 2018, with her family at her side, after a long struggle with addiction. Jody of Peterborough, formerly of Cobourg, in her 45th year. Dear mother of Stevie-Lee of Peterborough and Dana of Cobourg. Dear girlfriend of Johnny Foote. Loving grandma of Lily. Beloved daughter of Gail & Kevin Parry. Beloved niece of Sharon MacDonald. Fondly remembered by her “bro” Jordon. Pre-deceased by her Grandma Edith Cole. Jody was a free spirit who made friends easily. She will be remembered by her many friends at the Narcotics Anonymous program and all who knew her. Cremation entrusted to the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, (317 Hunter Street West) on Saturday, August 25 from 1-4 pm.
