Obituary of John Dennis DENNIS, Jack (Veteran of W.W. II serving with the S.D. & G. Highlanders and the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment) - At Riverview Manor on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Jack Dennis of Peterborough in his 96th year. Husband of the late Jean Alice (Pearson). Dear father of Karen Wirth (Mike) of Pembroke, Donna Wagar (the late George) and John A. Dennis (Shirley) all of Peterborough. Loving grandfather of nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Brother of Betty Anderson of Laramie, Wyoming, Leighton Dennis (Carol), Harry Dennis (Sandy) all of Florida, Ronald Dennis of Niagara Falls N.Y. and the late Beryl McAnerin and Bob Dennis. Uncle Jack is also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Jack's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
