Obituary of John Edmison EDMISON: JOHN ALEXANDER - At his residence on Sunday, October 6, 2013. John, life resident of Smith Township, 6th generation farmer of the Edmison Pioneer family to arrive from England and Scotland in 1834. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Ne´e Clark). Dear father of Stephen (Purdy), Lynn (Ed) Vanderbyl and Susan (Maurice) Harnett. Cherished Grandpa of Shane (Ali), Jay, Nathan, Jon (Maggie), Kyla (Scott) and Alana (Tom). Cherished Great Grandpa of Grace, Leo, Devon, Quinn and Emma. Predeceased by sister Marian and parents Alexander and Martha. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Murray Street Baptist Church 175 Murray Street, Peterborough.
