Obituary of John Worr WORR, John David - Retired Electrician, Oshawa General Hospital. Peacefully, at home in Peterborough, with family at his side, on Sunday, January 5, 2014, in his 83rd year. John was the beloved husband and best friend of Patricia for 30 years. Dear father of Joanne Bint (Ross) and Gerald Shody (Lynda). Loving Poppa of Christopher Bint (Alicia), Stephen Bint (Holly), and Ashley, Tianna, Tyler and Teagan Shody. Dear brother of Isobel Middleton, Wilfred Worr (Joyce), Betty Rowe (George), Allen Worr (Anne) and the late Nancy Manwaring. John will be remembered by many other relatives and friends in Scarborough, Norland, Peterborough, Oshawa, Picton, St. Catharines and Bradenton, Florida. A 'Jack of all Trades', John could build anything, and will be remembered for always tinkering and fixing things. A history buff, who could answer any questions about Canadian and American history. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at a later date. Details will be posted on the Community Alternative Funeral Home website.
