Obituary of Judith Buys Buys: Dr. Judith It is with complete sadness and shock that we are announcing the death of Dr. Judith C. Buys on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Judith lived life to the fullest, be it in her role as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, and professional. Judith was devoted to caring for, and loving her family, entertaining with a flourish, walking, cycling, golfing, working out, and living every waking moment. She accomplished more personally, socially, and professionally in her foreshortened life than most will ever do. Judith was deeply involved in the Peterborough community where she lived for over 30 years. She was a dentist and owner of Cornerstone Family Dentistry. She loved her work, and her patients, and would always strive for excellence in everything she would do. The hole in our lives will be palpable forever. Judith was the beloved wife of James McGorman and loving mother of Brendan and Connor. She was the cherished daughter of Geertje "Gerie" and the late Herman Buys. Dear sister of Yvonne, and Michele Buys and aunt to their children. Dear sister-in-law to Peggy, Liz, and Rob (deceased), and aunt to their children.
