Obituary of Karen Farnell Farnell, Karen Patricia (nee Condie) Peacefully on August 19, 2014 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her sixty-fourth year. Beloved wife of David of 39 years. Loving mother of Katie (Stephen Phillips), Jamie, and Lisa (Ian Gasson). Adored Nana to Claudia Phillips. Lovingly remembered by brother Brian Condie (Paul Bircher), sister-in-law Carroll (Bob) Evans, nephew Michael (Laura) Evans, and great-nephew Graeme Evans. She will be missed by many friends at the Peterborough Curling Club and at Wolfe Lake. Karen was a kind and selfless soul who touched many. The family will receive friends and family for a memorial visitation at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME 840 Armour Road, Peterborough on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. An open house reception to celebrate Karen's life will be held at the Peterborough Curling Club on Saturday, August 23 from 2-5 p.m. following a private family service.
