Obituary of Larry James Scott SCOTT, Larry James - It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Larry in Tarpon Springs Florida on March 24, 2018 just shy of his 76th birthday. Pre deceased by his beloved parents Alex Scott, Francis (Smith) and step-mom Ginger Scott and brother to the late Susanne Scott. Larry is survived by his soulmate and wife of 57 years Donna (Mann), daughter Elizabeth Koegler (Tim Hilts), son Doug Scott (Karen) and pre deceased by daughter Deanna. Cherished and proud Poppa to Sarah Koegler-Clarke (Richard), Matthew Koegler, Joshua Scott (Jordyn), Jordan Scott (Rebecca) and fur babies Zoey and Mattie. Larry, upon his retirement from GE as a general manager, enjoyed spending his winters at Tarpon Shores with his Floridian family. He gave generously of his time to the Peterborough Minor Pete's Hockey association and Kawartha Golf junior program and most recently as a Marshall at the Quarry Golf Club. His family's well-being and happiness was always first and foremost, he will be missed on Sunday Fundays at the lake though his legacy will live on. Friends and relatives are invited to join in a Celebration of Life to be held at the Ashburnham Funeral Home (840 Armour Road) on Saturday, April 21st at 11:00, with a reception to follow.
